Arisuu's Story- Chapter 3

*Tauthors note... this is really happy at first... a little bubbly and crappy but it gets tragic OnO and if you like Eiko im sorry... i hope no one cries<s>i doubt they will</s>and btw the fight scene is when yagari gets his eye taken out by the vampire lady... sorry if i just spoiled XD** 

 -Time skip three years-

  I swung my seven year old legs back and forth. I began to sing a song my Mom used to sing me when I was a baby...

"Put your shoes on Lucy! Don't you know your in the city?"

  Zero walked up to the tree I had climbed up and glared at me with his violet orbs.

"Gahh.. Would you shut up?" He mumbled "It's time to start training!"

"OH!" I jumped down from the tree, making a perfect landing, I have learned a lot over the past years. "Lets go then!" I said in a cheery tone, grabbing his hand.

  He tried to wiggle his hand out, but i wouldn't let him. I grinned an evil grin as he struggled to get out of my iron grasp.

"I won't let go Zero! So you can stop trying~!" I chimed in a devilish voice.

"Stupid..." He muttered and finally stopped wiggling.

  I grinned as I walked towards the tall burnette man and his young assistants, Eiko and Kaito. I let go of Zero's hand and heard a gasp of joy slip from Zero's mouth. I skipped towards the beautiful adults, feeling pleased that i got to hold Zero's hand.

"What are we dong today?" I asked in a sweet voice.

"Well aren't you happy, Arisuu?" Eiko chuckled as she saw Zero and I blushing.

  Kaito and Yagari-sensei laughed at Zero's red face. He just grred at then and they shut up.

"Well Ari! I guess we have no training today~ so I'll take you somewhere for a early birthday present!" She said in her normally cheery voice, her olive eyes glimmering gold in the sunlight.

"Kay." I said, pleased that I could go Eiko to get parfaits at the local cafe.

  We both walked inside and I put on my black trench coat on and my red barette.

"So what are ya planning?" She asked as we walked out of the twin metal doors.

"PARFAITS!!!!" I chanted spinning around on one foot.

"Heh, okay." She laughed as we walked farther into town.

-time skip 20 minutes-

 After a boring walk we got to my favorite place in the whole UNIVERSE!!! We sat down in a booth and waited for our waiter.

"One large strawberry parfait please!" I said grinning.

"And for me a... Green tea..." She said resting her head on the palm of her hand.

-time skip one hour-  

"Bleh! Why did you make me taste that tea!?" I said with my tounge sticking out.

"Heh..."

-time skip three days-

"Happy BIRTHDAY!!!!" Eiko screamed as she burst into my room, throwing a bunch of crappy hand made streamers on me.

"Eh...?" I said with my eyes half open and shoved my pillow in my face.

 She walked to me and flipped me over, pinched my cheeks.

"Your eight years old today, dingleberry." She said in a funny voice, making me sort of laugh, even though I was half asleep.

"Oh yeah..." I said sleepily and put a dumb smile on my face while stretching.

-time skip 10 minutes-

  After I got on my favorite outfit I heard a knock on my door, I gingerly opened it.

  To my surprise, it was Ichiru, who had a weird look on his adorable face.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARISUU!!!" He screamedand then pulled me into a odd hug. He started coughing after using his voice too much and I pulled away... Not wanting to get sick.

"Jeez... Thanks!" I said gving him a toothy grin.

"Y-you welcome!" He smiled like an idiot. e didnt even realize he said you insead of your.

  Eiko pushed Ichiru out of the way and sort of yelled,

"Zero and Yagari are getting attacked! Ichiru you stay here! Arisuu come on!"

"U-um.. ok.." I left Ichiru standing there.

We sprinted out the door and she drove us to my elementary school.

"W-why are we at the school?" I asked shocked. Eiko ignored me and got out of the drivers seat quickly, opened the trunk and pulled out her metal bow and after that her special arrows. I heard Zero's voice.

"Don't kill her!! Shes a nice person!!"

  Then i heard Yagari-sensei's scream. It was a scream of pain. Eiko rushed inside and i sprinted after her, following the screams.

  We reached the hallway where the screams were coming from, and saw a young woman, our school nurse, and Yagari-sensei with Zero behind him. Zero had fear in his eyes. And Yagari-sensei's left eye bleeding like hell.

 Eiko rushed over to him at the sight,but the vampire was too quick for her. Before my eyes, Eiko's arms were ripped off. My mind when blurry. What happened to the sound? Eiko are you alright!? EIKO!! I couldn't scream. I felt tears welling up and my voice finally came to me.

"EIKO!!!" I screamed.

 "D-d-ddon't *gasp* cahoome neaarr *gasp* Ariiisuuah!" Eiko forced out. Blood coming out of her mouth and where her arms once were. The arms that brought me back to this world. The arms that showed me  love when i needed it most. The arms tt gave me warmth when i was cold. Why? WHY!?

  The vampire was split in half it dissolving into dust. Yagari-sensei, ignoring his wounds, a Zero rushed to Eiko. Yagari-sensei took out his pager and called the hunters. I saw Zero staring at me and I could hear my name being shouted. I couldn't move my, heart shattered, for good. I forced my self to move, hurting my limbs and kneeled over Eiko, her eyes blurry and filled with tears.

"A-aarisuu... *cough*" She whispered, her lovely voice cracking"S-s-stay stro-GAH!!!!!" She let out her final words and her head eyes stayed open. Not blinking. Her head lolled to one side. Reveiling puncture marks.

"Ah...AH!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs "EIKO!" I grabbed her head body, not caring about anything else in this world, and hugged it. Imitating the way her strong arms once hugged me. I sobbed and cried until my throat hurt. The hunters came to the sight and we shocked. They were too late.

  I hate them.

  Why?

  WHY WERE YOU LATE!!??

  I couldn't control my emotions. I started crying and screaming curses until Yagari-sensei picked my limp and weak body up and cradled me. Ignoring his eye. All i could do is cry. I cried my self to sleep in his arms. They reminded me of Eiko's.

  I woke up thinking it was a dream. It was a dream right!? I saw Yagari-Sensei sitting next to me with the twins and their parents behind him. His face was in his hands. I swear I saw a tear.  

  I began crying again. And he held me in his arms again, crying into his neck, until a older man with grey-brown hair came in the room.

"I'm so sorry for your loss..." He said looking at me with sad eyes "I'm Kaien Cross. Your new guardian."
